WHAT ARE ALL SERVICE DO YOU PROVIDE?
Let’s get the obvious out of the way. I’m a wedding photographer. I’ve shot over a hundred weddings so far. During this time, I’ve built a team of exceptionally talented collaborators. I use this network to fulfill any additional photo or video related requirements that you may have at your wedding. It stems from the experience of knowing that when one well-coordinated unit covers a wedding, the results far outstrip any alternative.
I also double-up as a still photographer. I’ve shot for the posters and making-of photographs for movies like Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu, Kahi, Kavaludaari, Turtu Nirgamana etc
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
Keeping it real. Even the untrained eye can see through a fake candid photo. I prefer shooting real moments over staged beauty shots. You’ll notice that my photographs tend to be wide shots that attempt to capture the general vatavarana (atmosphere).
In that sense, I don’t follow the trend. My photos may look unconventional even. But I’m often validated by client feedback. After I deliver the final set of photos, it’s not uncommon for me to hear a phrase like, ‘Thanks, everyone looks so happy (or engrossed or interested) in the photos!’
WILL THERE BE GROUP PICTURES IN YOUR WORK?
Yep. I have an excellent team that specifically does that. As I mentioned above, the point of contact will still be me.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
It depends. Variables like scale of the wedding, the number of dates, the number of events and special requirements will decide the estimate. Don’t worry, it’s not as complex as it sounds. It’s something that we can figure out in a phone conversation (or even WhatsApp nowadays) :)
WHAT DOES YOUR CHARGE INCLUDE?
I usually include everything except travel and accommodation in my quotation.
WHAT IS THE LENGTH OF THE WEDDING FILM?
A highlight video of 6-8 minutes followed by a longer version of 15-20 minutes will be delivered in 8-10 weeks from the event. Meanwhile, a more conventional ninety-minute HD video will be delivered in 4-6 weeks time.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE ALL THE PHOTOS?
It takes around 4-6 weeks to deliver the soft copies of the photographs. The selection and processing of images is an intricate, time consuming process. It requires a lot of thought and precision to get right. By the time you hold the final photograph in your hand, it has gone through three grueling rounds of editing and refining.
WILL YOU PUT A WATERMARK ON ALL THE PHOTOS?
Yes and no. I share web-resolution photos as an online gallery for the first delivery. These bunch will carry my watermark. However, the print resolution photographs in a pen drive for the final delivery, it will not have any.
DO YOU PROVIDE RAW/UNEDITED PHOTOS?
No. I only share fully-processed images. However, If you insist on the RAW photos I will charge an additional 5% fee of the overall fee to share them with you.
DO YOU WORK WITH THE SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes. More often than not, I team up with a second photographer to ensure we cover the event comprehensively.
DO YOU EDIT ALL OF THE PHOTOS?
Yup. Every last one of them. Both front and back. 😄
